Target Audience
This initiative is designed to address the professional needs of specialty NPs and PAs involved in the care of patients with psoriasis.
Plaque psoriasis is a systemic disease manifested on the skin or scalp and associated with numerous comorbidities, including psoriatic arthritis in about 30% of patients. The burden of psoriasis is high, with visible plaques contributing to poorer quality of life for patients, as well as missed work or school, and higher rates of depression and anxiety. Recent years have seen the development of several new, effective treatment options that limit disease severity and improve quality of life.
